Northside Christian Academy accepts resumes on a continuous basis.
Applicants must be committed followers of Jesus Christ, an active member of a local church, and in full agreement with Northside Christian Academy’s Statement of Faith. In addition, they must be willing to conduct their lives in accordance with biblical, moral, and ethical, standards. Although Northside Christian Academy (NCA) does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, national or ethnic origin, color, age, or disability, NCA is an educational ministry of Northside Baptist Church, and as such, utilizes doctrinal beliefs and the applicant’s personal profession of faith as part of the selection criteria.
In addition to the above, applicants for faculty positions are expected to possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to teach their subject from a Christian worldview. Teachers should have at least a bachelor’s degree in education or their desired subject area and hold either state or organizational licensure/certification. Acceptable organizational certifications include those from the International League of Christian Schools (ILCS), or any other organization recognized by ILCS such as the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI).
Upon being considered for a position, the applicant will be required to complete a level II criminal background check and successfully pass an alcohol/drug screen before final hire and the first day of employment. Northside Christian Academy is a smoke/vape, alcohol, and drug-free workplace.
